So, Israel was not invited to Japan’s 79th annual memorial of the U.S. atomic bombing of Nagasaki bombing that killed an estimated 74,000 people, and because of that, the U.S. ambassador is boycotting the event.
Mayor Shiro Suzuki barred Israel from attending the memorial, and the U.S. and other Western nations supplying Israel with weapons are boycotting the decision by only sending lower-ranking representatives instead of their ambassadors.
