Why were the Zionists in Palestine in 1948 mostly educated while the Arabs there were mostly illiterate ?
Because most Zionists were Europeans who recently immigrated from Europe at that time. Most Palestinians were simple peasants and farmers who mainly focused on cultivating their lands back then, before Zionists stole them and ethnically cleansed the native Palestinians.
